Piqueteros are a political movement that get paid by political parties or politicians to block roads. Piqueteros create instability within the city of Buenos Aires.

COPPOLA/MARADONA'S MANAGER 

In the nineties Coppola was arrested on drug charges after police uncovered more than five hundred grams of cocaine in a large vase in his apartment. As predicted, he did not go to prison.

CROMAÑÓN/NIGHT CLUB 

Cromañón was a popular nightclub in Argentina. In 2004 a flare was deliberately lit inside the nightclub, causing the whole building to catch alight. Three thousand people were in the nightclub at this time. One hundred and ninety-three people were killed, many more were injured.

JOSE LUIS/JOURNALIST 

In 1997 José Luis was investigating a wealthy Argentinian businessman, Alfredo Yabrán. José Luis was kidnapped, tortured, killed and burned in a car for taking a photograph of Yabrán and sending it to a newspaper. Years later Yabrán mysteriously committed suicide.

ZONA ROJO/RED LIGHT DISTRICT

José lived very close to a red light district in Buenos Aires. He researched the district by taking pictures, talking to the police, neighbours and prostitutes.
