I am a founding member of SECAN- South Eastern Contemporary Art Network and Cardinia Art Society (CART), and a member of the Melbourne Society of Women’s Painters & Sculptors, and was winner of their major award, the Annie Davison Oliver Award in 2019.

CROMAÑÓN/NIGHT CLUB
Cromañón was a popular nightclub in Argentina. In 2004 a flare was deliberately lit inside the nightclub, causing the whole building to catch alight. Three thousand people were in the nightclub at this time. One hundred and ninety-three people were killed, many more were injured.

JOSE LUIS/JOURNALIST
In 1997 José Luis was investigating a wealthy Argentinian businessman, Alfredo Yabrán. José Luis was kidnapped, tortured, killed and burned in a car for taking a photograph of Yabrán and sending it to a newspaper. Years later Yabrán mysteriously committed suicide.

ZONA ROJO/RED LIGHT DISTRICT
José lived very close to a red light district in Buenos Aires. He researched the district by taking pictures, talking to the police, neighbours and prostitutes.
